Hi! I am a Cybersecurity generalist with a focus on Penetration Testing (Web, IoT, Automotive). I break into web servers and cars for a living (edit: with permission!). Before that, I earned a Masters degree (Ethical Hacking) in Scotland, and dabbled a bit in Artificial Intelligence research. I also have a strong coding background, which helps a lot in both the domain of Pentesting as well as Machine Learning.My interest in information security started long before the degree, in my teens. I like to think about how things can break, be it software, definitions, guidelines etc - and how they can be changed in order not to break ;)In my undergraduate degree, I studied Media Informatics with a focus on IT Security, Virtual Reality, and a thesis in Deep Reinforcement Learning (a subset of Machine Learning).You can check out my github: https://github.com/FavodarThe thesis involved applying state-of-the-art RL algorithms (PPO, DDPG) to robotics (training the virtual model of a real life cobot, with ROS as robotics middleware. Written in Python using OpenAI's stable-baselines).For some of the training I set up and utilized GCloud (Google Compute Engine), so I got some experience with cloud deployment, SSH, VMs and so forth.
