I led Athletic Brewing's emerging brand activities, which included identifying growth opportunities outside of NA beer, conducting new product research, and designing product concept statements. Responsibilities also included managing Athletic's hop-infused sparkling water brand, DayPack, and developing the initial go-to-market strategy. With DayPack, I oversaw a packaging refresh and the development of 4 new flavors. I also developed a paid digital strategy for DayPack to reduce total spend, improve ROAS, and lower CAC.

For more than eight years, I served as the editor of Brewbound, a leading online trade publication covering the beer business. Published by BevNET.com Inc., Brewbound provides comprehensive information about the beer space, analysis of industry trends, and in-depth interviews with industry leaders. While serving as editor, I oversaw the development of Brewbound’s business networking events — Brewbound Live and Brew Talks. At those events, and at other industry gatherings, I constructed and executed high-level, business-focused conversations with craft brewery founders, beer distributors, investors, and leading U.S. retailers. I also assisted with the development of Brewbound's marketing strategy and established unique creative partnerships with Craft Brew Alliance, Dogfish Head, and Nielsen.I was a driving force behind the development of Brewbound's daily coverage of the beer business and was frequently cited as an authority on the beer business in mainstream media publications such as The New York Times, CNBC, USA Today, and The Boston Globe, among others. I also received a 2016 ASBPE award of excellence for my story "Inside A-B InBev's Acquisition of Elysian Brewing."
