Summary:As Senior Voice Technician I have an advanced understanding of Voice Network functions such as SS7 signaling or SIP protocols for Soft Switch or Circuit Switch Voice Platforms. Acting as a team lead, performed tasks associated with the maintenance and installation and change of company voice network, and perform leadership tasks as needed (includes reporting disciplinary issues to management.) With a detailed understanding of telecommunications, as a Senior Voice Technician I was responsible for implementing, troubleshooting, managing, and correcting service issues. Have a working knowledge of Windows operating systems is expected.Detailed Knowledge:Configure and activate telecommunications services for businesses in various systems. Majority of configurations are integrated voice and data circuits. Test and turnup PRI, Voice over IP, wink-start trunks as well as standard analog FXS phone lines. Network elements configured include but not limited to : Nortel DMS-100 switch, Lucent 5ESS switch, Broadsoft softswitch, Alcatel 1630 and 1631 Dacs, Lucent PSAX, web-based Sonus Insight (both GSX Navigator and PSX Manager) as well as various other telecommunications elements. Customer Premise Equipment responsible for configuring include but not limited to : Adtran 600 T1 ATM and TDM series, Adtran Total Access 900 and 900e series, Adtran Total Access 850 series and Integral Access OutburstAs of 2011 took I took on more network responsibility. New responsibilities include to build, configure and troubleshoot Data/Internet/LAN and WAN BGP services. Network elements include Juniper M320 Edge Router, Cisco ME 3400E-24TS Ethernet Access Switch, Adtran NetVanta 3430 Router, and the data services provided within the Adtran Total Access 924e.
