For Straughan Environmental, a NASA contractor who managed federal environmental compliance for the Johnson Space Center. Employed methods for improved database performance, a more robust and sustainable design, and increased flexibility. Created ad-hoc tools to help automate file structure analysis. My role in managing the contractor's main database to track compliance also extended to as needed IT functionality.

Deep dives into the CMS (Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services) data files meant my role as a resource for how to read and extract data was critical in the development of monthly and quarterly reporting. Designed complex SQL modular code that served as a standard for data sections to be used and adapted for reporting by other analysts. Also developed a tool that could dynamically automate the production of PowerPoint slideshows from SQL Server-based data via VBA.

For Ventura Foods as a vendor at Sysco, Designed and implemented a data warehouse structure for category data provided via FTP and developed dashboard style reporting to be run on-demand.
