Gregory A. Hubbard is enjoying a successful career in the non-profit industry. For over two decades he has provided a variety of non-profit organizations timely, accurate, and actionable financial, HR, and IT analysis as an employee, consultant, and board member. He is currently the Controller of AAVSB. In addition to managing the daily operations of the accounting team, he prepares and presents financial statement and cash flow analysis. He manages the budget, Finance Committee, and annual audit, while preparing and filing the 990 and builds financial and pricing models for new and existing programs. He owns two small businesses: GAH Consultants and Inflouence Sports. GAH Consultants is a nonprofit consulting firm which provides accounting, management, and fractional CFO services. Inflouence Sports, aims to understand, and improve the youth sports experience for participants, parents, and businesses by providing data supported clarity via our patented data aggregation methods. He is a member of the United Soccer Coaches' Board of Directors and serves as Treasurer. He also chairs the Audit and Finance Committee and sits on the Foundation Committee.He joined the United Soccer Coaches as the CFO in December 2013, and was responsible for financial reports, analysis, and presentation, as well as budgets, IT, and HR. During his tenure, he helped establish their first operating reserve reaching $1.8M through revamped pricing models and expense monitoring. His history with fundraising helped the foundation grow from $500,000 to $2.0M. He became the first CFO of the Lyric Opera of Kansas City in July 2007. This required the development of all new operating and HR policies and procedures. He prepared, analyzed, and presented financial statements, while managing all HR and IT needs. Under his guidance, the budget grew 40% while maintaining financial stability. The opening of the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts required the Lyric to find new facilities. He was a member of the Lyric's capital campaign; he raised over $500,000 and helped design a legal structure for nonprofits to utilize New Market Tax Credits and obtained a $10.5M tax credit allocation.He worked for the Mid-America Arts Alliance, a federally funded regional arts organization, preparing presenting the organization’s financial and grant reports. He began his career in public accounting specializing in compliance and A-133 audits for governments and nonprofits. He earned a B.A. in business administration and accounting, from St. Mary’s College of California.
