    After to be recognized per my performance in MetLife Brazil, I was selected to be part of an international experience during 2 months in a technology project in the IT MetLife campus in Cary, North Carolina - US. This project was organized by MTU (MetLife Tech University), with the participation of MetLife professionals from several countries, among them: Brazil, Chile, Mexico and Japan. The collaboration was crucial to focus on issues related to exchange of knowledge and the development of IT solutions for process improvement in all countries where MetLife has business.The experience was a mental change, not only from a business perspective and career, but also from a cultural and personal learning. We learn how to create comprehensive strategies to engage and collaborate with different cultures, and lead teams remotely in a matrix organization. In addition to the project, there was also a strong focus on training using an educational structure of the recognized universities of Duke and NC State. The trainings were based on Personal Brand, Whole Business Thinking, Difficult Questions, Influence without Authority, Cultural Awareness and Change Experience.
