In 2008, my friend Samir Fors and I co-founded MVP Media with the primary goal of learning from real-world projects that extended beyond academic theory. We specialized in web development, UX/UI design, and media production, working on various commercial and non-profit initiatives.• Curt Nicolin Gymnasium (CNG.se): Designed and developed a supplementary website in alignment with their existing brand identity.• Rabble Communications AB: Created an innovative smartphone coupon service and built an informative website. I also designed the highly appreciated Rabble logo.• Non-Profit Organizations: Worked on projects for organizations like vastsaharaskvinnor.se and tenstakvinnojour.se, where we navigated challenges related to limited time, funding, and complex administration.Despite both having full-time jobs, we embraced our entrepreneurial spirit, creating innovative and fun products, including:• Spotmyvideo.com: A service that searches for music videos corresponding to Spotify playlists.• Picpinapp.com: A playful app aimed at encouraging users to look up from their smartphones and explore their surroundings through a simple game.

During the fall of 2012, I lived in San Francisco for four months to immerse myself in the city’s unique blend of entrepreneurship, technology, and design. While there, I worked with Weldon Owen, a small book publisher owned by Bonnier AB, helping them establish their digital strategy. Apica focuses on web performance and maintaining uptime during high-traffic events (e.g., when major news stories break and traffic surges).
