Work with a high level of quality & integrity. Complete IFC Fiber migration on 300+ nodes with pre/post light level and attenuation setting documentation. Set return levels, scope and clean fiber jumpers and optical APC and UPC bulkheads. Troubleshoot, repair, replace fiber Transmitters, Receivers, Micro Module WDMs, jumpers, padding and correct light levels at MTCs. FMP testing on Cisco10k CMTS, Cisco RF Gateway with Motorola DOCSIS 2.0/3.0 Modems. Troubleshoot and fix wire or equipment issues on Arris E6000s and Arris C4's. Provide MSO cutover support on equipment turn-up and migration. Have experience with hands-on rack and stack, wiring, installation and maintenance of routers and other network equipment. Work on PDF, Excel updating as-built documentation, engineering workbooks, and cable run lists for MSO service providers (TWC, Cox, Charter) at headend, hub or CO facilities. Work with Data Certifiers and RF Spectrum analyzer, EXFO light meters and EXFO scope test equipment. Have knowledge of industry-standard best practices for cable dressing and management, including fiber-optic cable systems. Responsible in the installation and wiring of multiple headend and hub site network equipment including: Optical Fiber TXs, RXs, WDMs, VOD, SDV, CMTS, RF Gateways, Demodulators, Ad Insertion, Modulators, Satellite receivers, RF combining & splitting equipment. Organize, square bundle and terminate coax wiring utilizing tie wrap. Label wiring as needed. 60+ Wi-Fi AP & Netgear modem installs. Install and terminate data cables (CAT5, CAT6) for content and management capabilities (GIGE). Troubleshoot & repair any wire (RG59, RG6, Mini RG59 single and bundle cable) connector (MCX, F, BNC) and passive equipment related connectivity, configuration or level issues in a timely manner.
