Role involves working within a student-led undergraduate program, focusing on the research, development, and hands-on assembly of an Unmanned Ground Vehicle, sponsored by Northrop Grumman.R&D involves cooperating with multiple different specialized teams focusing in payload, drivetrain, structural analysis, electrical, and software subsystems.In the 2022-2023 project, my role contributed toward the payload team in the design and testing of multiple custom-made linear actuators.The use of CAD software, trade studies, direct application, and mechanical analysis being the most demanding skills for the project.

Tasks ranged from helping students understand how to navigate the objectives of their assignments to troubleshooting technical issues that would occasionally appear in the software or computer. This role also involved being responsible for grading assignments and communicating with students and the instructor in optimizing their workflow and grade to perform to the instructors expectations.
