TPC is a small retail consultancy primarily operating in the UK. 2016-present: Retail Scientist• Developed analytical tools to identify underperforming clothing products early in the lifecycle so the price could be reduced to avoid excessive markdown later• Worked to identify the effects of increased shipping and handling prices on the demand for furniture at an online retailer• Developed a profit-maximization tool to identify the best proportion of different sizes of clothing for a retailer to stock in stores given unpredictable sales• Ex post analysis to evaluate the benefits of a tool used to set markdown prices

The Quantum product is software that manages store-level inventory decisions for large retailers, using sophisticated analysis and decision logic and an intuitive user interface.I joined Quantum as one of the very first employees and played a central role in helping grow the company through providing quality science.
