An experienced and ambitious Senior Manager regarding plant Operations, Manufacturing Engineering and Quality Assurance within tier 1 Automotive manufacturing. Experience within the Automotive manufacturing industry for almost 30 years operating in various functions from Quality Management, Process and Manufacturing Engineering Management, Continuous Improvement through to Plant / Operations Management. Within my career I have had the fortune to support and partner many key OEM's including JLR, BMW, Toyota, Honda and Nissan developing, introducing and delivering many projects for various vehicle platforms. Experience gained within multiple roles and functions has significantly supported my career development through the years in understanding the key drivers and requirements in order to grow and sustain a successful business. My Management style is to identify, support and promote development within the team to enhance key skills within their function/role. Ensuring clarity of the business targets, objectives and deliverables are defined. Communication, accountability and teamwork are paramount to delivering successful results. As part of a Global corporation with over sixteen thousand employees and 67 plants worldwide I was fortunate to be one of only twenty key individuals selected to join an International Leadership Program supported by an external accredited organization to further build and enhance my personal development into Executive leadership. One of my key achievements as Plant/Operations Manager is converting the significantly worst performing plant from four UK plants to the best performing and most profitable within two years.
