General Manager of a wholly owned subsidiary with overall responsibility for the people, the product and the long term strategic positioning in the marketplace. My mission is to make this subsidiary competitive with outside companies producing similar products. This requires strong corporate leadership as well as extensive interaction with city and state government agencies.

Led a manufacturing operation of over 700 people responsible for the annual production of all medical X-ray film for the China market. Executed the company strategy to make the operation more efficient or to prepare it for sale. Aligned the programs at this facility with the worldwide Health-Imaging manufacturing strategy. Drove continuous improvement in customer, employee and shareholder measures.Achievements:•Developed improved strategic planning and initiated Lean manufacturing in the Shantou factory. This included Standard Work, TPM, and 6 Sigma techniques.
