I currently work at Aim Altitude as a galley builder. in this role I work on numerous departments including detail and doors cell, panel assembly and composite bonding. throuout my contracting career I have gained over 5 years work experience as a composite laminator, during this time I worked on various projects in the Motorsport, Aerospace and Defence industries. Laminating with various types of pre-preg composite including Epoxy Resin Phenolic Glass, Carbon Fibre and Kevlar, Uni-Directional Carbon Fibre Pre-Preg also including the use of Nomex Honey Comb Cores, Aluminum Cores, Foam Core and Film Adhesive.I have also been responsible for templating and mould making using tooling glass and tooling carbon. Laminating into detailed and intricate shapes working from pre-formed moulds, following orthographic and isometric drawings and 3D CAD designs. Using Pre-Form moulds, forms including – Aircraft First and Business Class Seating and Surrounds, Military Target Drones and Motor Racing Components. My experiences also includes Vacuum Consolidation, preparing components ready for curing, loading and programming the auto-clave ovens and de-bagging, cracking out/de-moulding. I provide feedback to engineers to assist design and manufacture of moulds, strictly adhering to health and safety standards. I have a full, clean UK driving license. Interested in UK and European work, to expand my knowledge and experiences.
