Gary Johnson has over 28 years of experience with the dedicated and determined team at Applied Medical, where he currently serves as Group President. Gary is a fervent champion of Applied’s fundamental mission to deliver innovative technologies that improve patient outcomes while, most importantly, reducing overall healthcare costs. Today, Applied is a global company with over 2,800 Team Members.Gary joined this progressive organization in 1992, and from the onset, has enjoyed cultivating the Applied culture and developing enabling medical technologies, remaining an ardent developer ever since. During his tenure, Gary has served as Division President and General Manager of several product divisions, Vice President of Operations, Vice President of Clinical Development and Vice President of Research and Development.Gary holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO.Gary was born in Long Beach, California and currently resides in Orange County with his wife, Deena, and four wonderful children, Jordan, Jessica, Joel and Jacob. He is an avid and lifelong runner, as well as an eternal gearhead, tinkerer and engineer.
