About Gary Mack

I am a experienced senior strategic level manager specialising in strategic and operational management and transformation. I have been working in the health and social care sector at for the last 28 years. For the last three years I have worked in Gloucestershire's ICS as a Head of Integrated Commissioning. I was Head of Service for 9 years at Walsall Council; first as Head of Older People's Services then as Head of In House Provision which includes the councils BCF pathways. My practice background is in services for those with sensory impairment, I taught deaf-blind children and adults to communicate effectively for the first ten years of my career. I was, a strategic commissioner at both Wolverhampton and Walsall covering older people's services and EMI. I have a wide range of key strengths including transformation, strategic planning and service development/re-design, as well as a wealth of experience in people management. I am also a published horror fantasy and sci fi writer.
