Sr. Analyst
• Manage quotation process from RFQ receipt to quoted response to customer by effectively using the Quote Management System.• Generate costed bills of material (BOM’s) from documentation provided by customer drawings, sample harness supplied by customer and Engineering Group. Ability to locate and identify raw material along with material substitutions.• Assist Purchasing and Engineering in sourcing and/or pricing all new or inactive raw materials found on BOM’s being costed.• Generate labor elements for harnesses being quoted. When labor elements do not exist, work with Product Engineer to estimate standard run rates.• Review all parts being costed for accuracy and assist Product Engineering in finding cost-reducing design changes. Depth of review to be dependent on value of line item being costed and urgency of request.• Provide tooling/equipment support to manufacturing plants where required• Review all internal ECN’s submitted by manufacturing plants, consulting with Product Engineering and Sales as required. Assist Product Engineering as needed to reduce costs, meet print requirements, and/or meet costing database part structure requirements. .
