Managing Avis and Budget in Norway, Sweden and Denmark.

Responsible for a team of 60 sales people covering direct and intermediate sales, E Commerce, Multiple call centres and marketing a "Super Brand". Overall management of Annual Revenue in excess of 200 million USD.Sat on the board of directors with strategic responsibility for the business unit.Highlights include:Turning a dissatisfied team into a winning team with Nett Promoter customers in excess of 40%. (This was not done single handedly)Double digit compound revenue growth during my tenure.

Responsible for ensuring that the right customer got the right "We Try Harder" service when getting the right car at the right place at the right time. Sat on the board of directors with strategic responsibility for the business unit and on the Fleet Adjustment Committee responsible for the acquisition, and disposal of 15000 vehicles.Responsible for 400 people at over 110 locations.Accountable for delivery of operational budget and execution of operational strategy.Highlight was the achievement of record profit in 2002 despite an economic downturn, which was the culmination of a collective effort but was contributed in no small way by a change to our fleet procurement initiated and overseen by myself.
