I am currently a managing shareholder of Vear, Inc. Shortly after high school I joined the Navy. I graduated from Naval Nuclear Power School and then was a member of the USS Ohio SSBN-726 Blue crew for 4 years. I completed 7 strategic deterrent patrols, and over 500 days submerged. After the Navy, I attended Auburn University while working full time at East Alabama Medical Center in the security department. In 1994, I started working for the Auburn Police Department as a patrol officer. I received my bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Auburn in 1995. In 1999 my family and I moved to Birmingham and I started working for Robinson & Associates. While there, I was involved in nearly 1000 major accident reconstructions. During that time I also completed the prerequisites for Mechanical Engineering graduate school. In 2008 Robinson and Vista Engineering merged to form Vear. In December of 2008 I received my master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.Specialties: "Black box" downloads and interpretation, vehicle and site examination, vehicle trajectory. Train, heavy truck, passenger vehicle and motorcycle accident reconstruction, human factors.
