When people ask me to summarize my sales, marketing and operations leadership experience, the first thing I tell them is that I’m not your average sales and marketing manager! I’ve had the opportunity to experience very diverse businesses from many different perspectives and positions. Everything from consumer products to agriculture to hardware/software and SaaS. These various positions -across a broad spectrum of sales, marketing and operations responsibilities- give me a unique business understanding. More importantly, it also helps me to better identify and quantify the opportunities in a given market, have productive dialog with the folks that can help affect change, and put in place the strategies and tactics necessary to drive positive results. I have worked in Fortune 500 companies as well as smaller, entrepreneurial organizations. From these two very different experiences I have learned to act with the rigor and discipline that I developed at the larger companies and combine that with the sense of urgency and ownership required to survive and thrive at smaller companies.I have worked in both HQ and field sales positions. I fully appreciate the need to communicate well and work collaboratively across functions to achieve more thorough and immediate success. My experience includes senior level positions in both distributor/reseller management as well as large National Account management. I understand the challenges the two different disciplines face and I have been very successful in building bridges across these functions in order to deliver meaningful results. In summary, I am very proud of the success I have been a part of and the results my teams and I have accomplished. Along the way I have honed my financial acumen, leadership and team building capabilities.
