Gary Collins is a Forward Deployed Engineer at Palantir Technologies. He possess expertise in javascript, json, agile methodologies, xml, rest and 34 more skills. He is proficient in French, German, Spanish and Japanese. Colleagues describe him as "I was working with Gary on Skype for Outlook.com and Bing.com projects for few months and since the first day he joined the team, he was known from his strong expertise in javascript best practices and automated (unit and API level) tests. Whenever we, as a team, had a discussion about the best possible approach, solution or design pattern that should be chosen to solve problem we were working on, we always tried to get Gary involved as it was a guarantee of having a strong and valuable input. I did have few discussions with Gary myself about designing new classes or methods and they were always very valuable for me not only because of an opportunity to polish the solution itself but also to get a great possibility to look at the problem at the higher, much more abstract level.
