I am the Director of Global Business Development for all of Deighton globally. To that end, I oversee a team of BD professionals around the world who are responsible for the strategic growth of Deighton, be it for our software, services or through partnerships.Deighton is a leading organization in the infrastructure asset management field and is constantly growing in all aspects of our business. Personally, I am an asset management engineer for work that pertains to the financial and operational sustainability of infrastructure assets. I have successfully worked on small and large asset management assignments at all government levels as well as donor funding agencies such as the World Bank and ADB on overseas assignments.I am a registered Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario. I have worked for 20+ years as a provider of engineering solutions to both private and public sector clients providing a long term plan for the management of their assets.Having worked on a diverse range of AM projects for clients in Canada, US, Europe, Australia, India and South Africa, I have experience covering major asset types such as pavements, bridges, sidewalks, handicap ramps, underground utilities, airports and port facilities.My specialization includes development and implementation of software models for capital investment analysis, prioritization, optimization and risk assessment. Implementing these solutions has also honed my project management skills.I am especially skilled at meeting with clients to determine what the best solution is to manage their assets and then provide them with a long range cost effective plan that they can use.I am also skilled at making presentations and talking with people in a professional setting. I have written and presented many papers at a variety of international conferences. Writing reports, proposals and technical papers has developed my writing skills.One of my greatest strengths is being able to think well on my feet.I am a certified PMP and in my previous role as Director of Program Management, I was responsible for the delivery of all Deighton's software implementation projects to ensure the schedule, budget, scope and level of quality are met as well as assisting in growing the business and develop solutions to program challenges, and direct others for successful completion of projects on time and on budget.
