Formed in 1961 Ausco Modular is Australia’s most experienced modular construction company. Ausco Modular prides itself in its ability to intuitively interpret client requirements and deliver outstanding modular building solutions across an extensive cross section of customers within a broad range of markets.Employed as a Procurement Officer it is my purpose to provide the timely and cost effective procurement of materials and services for all manufacturing sites nationally. My primary focus is the support of regional facilities ensuring no factory stoppages, procurement cost and accuracy of supply, compliance with procurement policy and adherence to national agreements and to support regional supplier negotiations and maintain supplier relationships.

Coates Hire is Australia's largest equipment hire company with over 125 years of experience supplying to a wide variety of markets including engineering and building construction, maintenance, mining and resources, manufacturing, government and events. Originally retained as a Trades Assistant in 1988, I have been regularly promoted throughout my career and am currently employed in the position of Purchasing Manager. Responsible for a complex multimillion dollar portfolio, I have made a long term contribution to the growth and business success of Coates Hire through the effective management of all purchasing, inventory and vehicle fleet operations.My extensive experience in the industry has lent me the ability to effectively identify issues in need of organisation and attention and make considered recommendations to improve the performance of the business. Throughout my career, I have initiated, developed and implemented new systems to manage invoice payments, analyse team workload, measure supplier performance and monitor capital equipment expenditure. These initiatives have worked to significantly reduce costs and increase competitive advantage for Coates Hire QLD and have been recognised at a national level. Actively involved in the introduction and testing of new electronic inventory and purchasing platforms, I have also managed the smooth implementation of the Coates Hire Mainframe, Oracle Purchasing and most recently, BasePlan. Effectively managing change within the business is key to the success of any new initiative and I always collaborate with key stakeholders to achieve a smooth and trouble-free integration with minimal disruption to the business.
