I’ve led and managed engineering design on a wide variety of consulting and design-build projects and throughout my career I’ve enjoyed building collaborative, innovative and productive teams. I’m passionate about successful project delivery, whether a simple feasibility study, or a complex multi-disciplinary project. I have a good working knowledge of engineering and construction contracts, and I'm commercially aware; in addition to understanding the importance of delivering quality projects on time and on budget, I’ve had experience and accountability for business unit financial planning, budgeting and operational management.My project experience spans from concept and feasibility design, right through detailed design to project completion and successful handover. I've led design on innovative and award-winning multi-disciplinary projects that have included new-build treatment plants, energy production, asset refurbishments and treatment plant upgrades. In addition to roles as Design Manager, Engineering Manager and Project Manager, I've also fulfilled roles as Key Account Manager and Head of Engineering.I'm Six Sigma green belt trained in business excellence (innovation, leadership development and value creation) and enjoy balancing best practice in engineering design and delivery, with innovative new ways of working. I’ve also had the opportunity as a Supervising Engineer to coach and mentor engineers with their successful pursuit of professional qualifications.
