Founder director of OGL Group a public company dedicated to providing complex elections, election expertise and governance support. This expertise and support has been critical for every group having to elect leadership positions and governing bodies of their organisation - this covers the spectrum of membership organisations, not-for-profits and corporate groups. I am an experienced Returning Officer and election professional, working on the management, oversight and running of elections for community organisations, not-for-profits and corporates for OGL since 2009. Previously, I have worked in higher education, private enterprise and government, and this work included stints at the Victorian Electoral Commission on state elections as well as being an election monitor overseas, most notably in Timor-Leste. This work led to me authoring the first edition of the ‘Guide to the Political Parties and Groupings of Timor-Leste’ in 2007.My team and I setup, manage and oversee successful in-person and on-line (remote) elections for many different organisations through OGL, including multi-member optional proportional elections and multiple-site concurrent elections. This has included major political party ballots, workplace agreement ballots and membership elections for organisations with over 50,000 members. This work has covered elections at all major Australian Universities, the largest membership organisations present in Australia and representative bodies such as the First People's Assembly of Victoria.
