Since 2013 have been running my own Sales, Marketing and Training Consultancy for the Hospitality Industry - Winning Edges. Specialising in assessing and improving sales performance and sales processes to positively impact revenue - often through training, coaching and mentoring of the sales team.In 2017 I qualified as a Mental Health First Aid Instructor for MHFA England. Since then this has gradually become the larger part of the business - and my passion. Hence the introduction of a new company - Balancing Edges.Currently I am upskilling to also be able to offer Cognative Behavioural Therapy (CBT) - watch this space!Early career - 8 years as a hotel General Manager followed by 10 years in Senior Sales positions with various groups including Hilton, Swallow and Best Western up to National Sales Director level. Then three years with Principal Hayley as Head of Central Services running: central reservations, conference desk, research, database and marketing.
