Originally, I was brought in to be an agent, but due to the circumstances at the time I ended up helping mostly with technical issues that would arise. I ended up fully transitioning to IT and marketing as a remote worker around 2011.As the IT admin I started the IT department. The first thing I did was move to an internal server model rather than the cobbled together network. I would eventually move us to a more cloud centric model when the company started doing things more remotely around 2015. I re-designed the network structure to make sure it made more sense and I also made sure it was tightly secured. I worked in security compliance to make sure the agency was HIPAA compliant. My programming skills helped make the company’s website and I also helped with all the marketing materials. I was able to utilize my graphic design skills to redo the company logo and all digital and print materials. I also made some internal tools, though most of the time it was excel related.I greatly expanded the company's technical capabilities utilizing anything from Microsoft Teams to SharePoint to virtual machines. Ultimately, I helped the company quickly recover after a large fire destroyed the main office. This was in large part due to the backup policies I strictly enforced.Some side things I would also help with included financial analysis, accounting, document editing.
