I am a cultural strategist and consultant with 15 years experience working at a senior level helping brands and organisations use semiotics, cultural insight, foresight & analytics to tackle major strategic challenges and drive competitive advantage.I am an experienced manager and effective business leader and in 2016 I was given the opportunity to establish Space Doctors office in Singapore with the objective of expanding our business and growing the profile of cultural insight and strategy across APAC. Thanks to the efforts of our small, brilliant team, we expanded our client base and the business grew significantly during this time. I was able to bring the benefits of this experience back to a global role the UK in late 2019.I am an expert and thought leader in the area of semiotics and cultural insight. In 2020 I took over the running of the MRS’s Advanced Semiotics Masterclass from Malcolm Evans (co-founder of Space Doctors) and now run the course twice a year with participants from around the world. I have led training for ESOMAR and for numerous clients and agencies and am always happy to chat to anyone with questions about cultural insight and strategy and its applications in a commercial context. I have a longstanding interest in literature, sociological and cultural theory and philosophy. I have a BA (First Class) Joint Hons in English Literature and Philosophy from the University of Leeds, and a MSc (Distinction) in Sociology and Cultural Theory from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
