Serve as an elected by the UNC Board of Governors to serve as a member of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Board of Trustees in 2019. Served as Vice Chair of the Board from July 2019 - June 2021. Currently serve on the External Relations (served as chair from 2019-21), University Affairs and Strategic Initiatives Committees. Member of the Chancellor Search Committee in 2019 as well as search committee for Dean of School of Arts and Sciences (2021-22) and Dean of School of Government (2022).

Appointed to the NC Museum of Art Board of Trustees in 2013 by the Speaker of the North Carolina House and reappointed in 2015, 2017 and 2021). Currently serve as the Board's Vice Chair (since 2019). Serve on the Director's Committee, Committee on Trustees, Building & Grounds Committee (Chair since 2016) and the Executive Committee. Previously served on Director and Development Director Search Committees.
