My professional journey began over 30 years ago when I was commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Navy. Since then, I have developed expertise in conducting insider risk/threat, risk analysis and mitigation, complex global investigations, physical security, and security program management. As a high-performing, adaptable, critical-thinking, and results-oriented professional, I have a proven track record in protecting people, intellectual assets, and physical spaces in the private and public sectors, instilling trust in my abilities. Currently, I hold the position of Uber's Manager of Public Safety Risk in Japan. In this role, I leverage my Japanese cultural and language expertise to manage Uber's relationship with Japanese governmental organizations and law enforcement agencies across all 47 prefectures in Japan.
