Dr. Gene Perkins has been practicing in South Florida since 2000 and in private practice in Pompano Beach since 2002. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, TX. Prior to that, he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education/Sports Management with a focus on athletic training from Lyndon State College in Vermont. His interest in health and fitness, combined with the fact that chiropractic helped him find relief from neck pain and headaches that he had suffered from for years led him to the chiropractic profession. He enjoys staying involved in the local community. He is President of the Exchange Club of Pompano Beach which supports many local children's organizations. In his free time he stays active in many health and fitness activities, including running, weight training, golf and softball.
