The Commission was formed in 2002 to advise the City of Aurora in the implementation of a development plan for the boundary area surrounding the former Fitzsimons Army Base. The Commission consistent of the Aurora City Manager and a number of department heads along with the heads of the Aurora Economic Development Office.

While at Sevo Miller I worked as a Senior Real Estate Broker specializing in retail sales and leasing. Sevo Miller was a leader during the RTC days and did workouts for institutional owners like GE Capital and Westinghouse Equities. Our mission was to stabilize their properties to the point where they could be sold at a market price. I worked directly with the company owners, John Sevo and Andrew Miller and with Ira Shwartz, the director of leasing. I also developed a lot of other relationships during this time; many of which are still my real estate clients today.

I was responsible for real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing of company owned properties in various states. The properties were value-added and we worked with brokers and contractors in other states to add value and turn the real estate around. While in this position I worked for Marty Herzog.
