I am currently a member of the Datacom NZ Enterprise Sales Solutions team, in the role of Senior Solution Advisor. The Solutions team provides pre- and post-sales support to the national sales team. This role sees me providing support for 30+ sales team members all over New Zealand.I have been working for Datacom for 11 years in pre-sales consulting roles. I previously had pre-sales consulting roles at both Axon and at ATL Systems. During my career, I have moved into high end solution consulting, becoming a trusted advisor for customers, while working very closely with account managers/directors. My colleagues and customers know that I can talk with them about technical topics in a way that is easy to understand which they value. At Datacom I have developed the skills to bring solutions together that are comprised of components from disparate business units within the company, in a customer-friendly manner and in a way that enables sustainable delivery across the life of the contract. This includes cost model development for complex solutions while considering governance requirements and contract details such as LCI/CPI adjustments and inflation or currency protection.I have a very broad technical knowledge base and can lend my hand to a range of technical IT conversations (from low-level networking to high-level application architectures), with the ability to convert tech-speak to business-relevant language and value for customers. My academic and industry achievements prove I am motivated, dedicated, able to meet deadlines, accept challenges and work under all kinds of pressure.I am well experienced and responsible in managing my own time and working independently. I enjoy the flexibility of hybrid working, which has proven to be very cost and time efficient for the company and me.I have sound leadership skills and know I can work with anyone. I can work co-operatively within a team and across departments and accept responsibility to manage others. I value diversity and inclusiveness.
