As part of my Industrial Placement I spent 12 months working as a Project Management Analyst within SMBC's Change Management Group.I worked alongside Project Managers on a variety of projects to enhance the bank’s efficiency and profitability including; Communications Surveillance Project, Structured Distribution Solutions Project, Derivatives Enablement Project.One of my achievements I am particularly proud of was presenting a session on ‘Introduction to Project Management’ to a group of interns as part of SMBC’s aim to develop students who face social barriers in education and employment, heightening their aspirations and introducing them to more career opportunities.I contributed to SMBC’s team and culture through leading several culture initiatives, most notably the creation of the Team Charter and the Programme Management Training Programme.

I was responsible for collating and dispatching orders for up to 250 garden centres across the UK.I worked within a small team during COVID to keep the business running and to ensure production deadlines were met, demonstrating my ability to work within a fast-paced working environment.

During COVID-19 I managed a small team of 8 workers responsible for weed control and assuring general crop hygiene ready for summer harvest.
