I am a patent attorney who has prosecuted thousands of patent applications in the areas of pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and chemistry. I have experience in post grant matters before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) and the former Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences (BPAI), participating in over 40 inter partes cases and 30 oral hearings. I served as the sole arbitrator in two arbitrations and served as an expert witness in several patent infringement litigations in the medical and biopharma fields. I am published in industry publications including Law360 and Bloomberg BNA's Patent, Trademark and Copyright Journal, and have been a lecturer at the annual PLI Patent Law Institute since 2009.
