Deputised for the MD, overseeing and managing all operational departments; with the MD and Sales & Marketing Director developing and executing strategies and plans to deliver growth in revenue and profit, while ensuring a world-class guest experience. Managed all hotel operations from ‘curb to pillow’, carried accountability for financial performance and the delivery of guest services and facilities to international VIP standard. Notably, negotiated a full buy-out contract of the hotel during the FIFA 2010 Soccer World Cup event, and the delivery of subsequent VIP Liaison during the event.

Conducted audits, assessments and training at group hotels, lodges and facilities around South Africa. Ensured all corporate standards, policies, procedures and systems are followed and applied (administration, bookings, disaster recovery, reporting). And developing systems requirement strategies and plans.
