I work as the language solutions architect of espell. I have a computer programmer background, but have spent 30+ years in the language industry, focusing on software localization, IT translation (marketing and transcreation), multilingual project management and QA, terminology management, and language technology (CAT tools and CMS integrations, localization workflow automation, MT improvements). Spent a few years at Oracle Hungary as a consultant setting up the localization of Oracle Applications products, adding automation wherever possible. Was Intel "language owner" for Hungarian for a few years in care of terminology and quality. Started global cooperation with localization providers in 16 countries after joining Milengo as the Hungarian partner.I joined espell in 2005 with a clear mission to kickstart the IT/localization division. Architected and managed complex localization services into 50+ languages for espell's enterprise customers. Currently I am responsible for R&D efforts for process & tool development and customer integrations. Focus areas include optimizing existing MT workflows with multiple engines (e.g. by integrating terminology); transcreation quality and LQA; terminology management; multilingual SEO; architecting in-house custom tools; continuous evaluation of CAT and AI tools and related integrations; consultation services to customers who are looking for CAT/TMS integrations and related automation.
