Summit Biorefining (SBIO) is a subsidiary of SR Energy, LLC. We are an emerging leader in the cellulosic biorefinng industry. SBIO's technology efficiently performs enzymatic hydrolysis of cellulosic biomass to produce a stream of high value co-products. SBIO is building demonstration scale capacity to validate the scalability of its process of liberating cellulosic sugars that can be fermented into advanced biofuels, biopolymer and a host of other high value co-products. One targeted feedstock is wood used in the production of bio-pellets, other feedstocks include poultry litter, waste water treatment sludge and sorgham. The demonstration scale facility will be built and operated by a strategic partnership comprised of financial, operational, engineering and beneficial end users who are working together with SBIO to bring the technology to market. SBIO’s executive team in place and its second traunch of Angel funding has been secured. The launch of our demonstration scale biorefinery is slated for Q2 15.
