The scope included: 1) Set up HCS China FP&A reporting mechanism, with 4 direct reports2) Support HCS China Finance Executive to set up HCS Commercial Finance team operating mechanism3) Provide financial analysis and support to help management team to drive financial results (e.g. business cycle time analysis, backlog conversion analysis, bidding status analysis etc.)4) Set up operating plans/targets to commercial teams, with alignments of management team5) Closely track financial performance, identify the risks and opportunities, and communicate with management team for actions accordingly6) Perform financial projection with financial model, and provide insights to management team for the observations from the financial trends7) Perform cost analysis and control over full base cost scope (C&B, T&L, program, bad debt reserve, etc.)8) Provide full P&L financial support on specific channels (SAM, Loan, NGO)9) Take lead on HCS Commercial Finance related projects (system enhancement, finance lean, etc.)

In this role, supported the financials and operations for sourcing Asia, and also got engaged in global sourcing projects.1) Managed MV PPV & FX accounts for Asia. Responsible for monthly QMI forecast, operational variance analysis, and quarterly closing. 2) Managed AP account for China and APAC. Performed controls over payment term management.3) Initiated and drove global sourcing simplification project (e.g. annual standards update simplification, global QMI standardization).4) Provided regional support for China sourcing operation (e.g. performance reporting, base cost control)
