Associate General Counsel, Labor And Employment
CurrentHead of employment law for logistics provider with 6,000 employees globally in over 30 countries. Advise on employment and union/labor issues across the employee lifecycle, from recruitment to termination, including: compensation, benefits, diversity and inclusion, employee relations, safety, security, recruiting, investigations, discipline and performance management, medical and other leaves of absence, accommodations, OSHA and safety, wage and hour, diversity and inclusion, pay equity, reorganizations and layoffs. I manage all litigation, respond to administrative complaints, government audits, and pre-litigation demands, and manage outside counsel. I work with the compliance and business teams to craft policies and procedures, draft and negotiate executive agreements, refine benefit plan documents, prepare separation and severance agreements, and conduct regular internal compliance audits. I prepare and deliver training and legal updates for a variety of audiences.
