April 2019 - oversees the Sands Family Foundation and its philanthropic activities to support the Rochester and Delray Beach communities and beyond. Supports many special projects for the family.April 2019, Retired, Constellation Brands - SVP Public Affairs2002- Oversaw creation of corporate messages, developed & implemented targeted media strategy.Extended & enhanced positive impact with political & decision-making audiences in U.S. & abroad, including company's PAC & other community efforts.Worked closely with company's Chairman and CEO & managed significant initiatives that had a positive economic impact in communites. In 2004, developed a strategy to create the New York Wine & Culinary Center - now the New York Kitchen (NYK) and the Marvin Sands- Constellation Brands Performing Arts Center (CMAC). Managed projects from inception through creation. Currently, President of each not for profit boards. 2007/08 - Rebuilt the not-for profit operating model for CMAC - and maintained 12 positive operating seasons.2008/09 Lead development, construction of the company's 180 corporate employees to a 120,000 ft., new corporate headquarters. (completed early & under budget) 2010 - Coordinated and traveled to Haiti on four relief efforts after 1/12/10 earthquake.2014 - Promoted to SVP, Public Affairs. Expanded role & oversight of company's US Federal and State issues. Prior to joining Constellation, managed a travel agency & in 98’ developed & implemented Constellation’s global corporate travel department.
