I always begin with the end goal in mind when building innovative education materials and programs to engage learners. I've been an educator for 10+ years to young learners, adult learners, in-person learners, and remote learners alike. I've taught in the states and abroad. In those 10+ years I've noticed a pattern: If you're not clear about where you want your learners to arrive, you can't create effective learning experiences. My education and background are in marketing and teaching, and I have experience in both educational and business settings. I love instructional design because it allows me to blend my interests in education and technology to deliver engaging experiences. My strength is in innovating and designing instructionally sound materials that meet educational objectives and engage learners in classroom, remote, and hybrid platforms. I have a reputation as a critical thinker, problem solver, and efficient project manager. I'm a bilingual professional with excellent communication skills, and I'm able to translate English-Spanish and Spanish-English. MY SPECIALTIES:➤ Keen knowledge of learning theory and vast experience designing and adapting learning activities that promote productive learning. ➤ Skilled in applying UX qualitative research methods to establish core learning competencies.➤ Strong planning, time management, and organizational skills, adept at streamlining processes and managing multiple project assignments while consistently meeting deadlines.➤ Excellent communicator, able to work independently as well as collaboratively.➤ Continuous improvement mindset, consistently streamlining procedures and adopting creative solutions that improve learning. ➤ Software developer with experience building full-stack web applications; learns new technology platforms quickly and remains current on trends in educational technology.➤ Raised over $6,500 to date on DonorsChoose to provide supplies and resources for students.
