I am a second-year student at the University of Florida under the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, pursuing a degree in Microbiology and Cell Science. In the future, I plan on obtaining a medical license to work both in the clinical and research setting, helping others by as many means as possible. My previous experience as a medical academy student taught me the inner workings of the healthcare system, allowing me to not only grow professionally through medical certifications but to also develop into a considerate and empathetic individual. Because of that, I also developed useful day-to-day skills, such as leadership, communication, and effective interpersonal abilities.
