Currently leading and managing the Communications team under the Strategic Transformation of Education Plan (STEP), responsible for shaping the visual identity and communication strategies across 55 Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) schools. Many of these schools initially had no website or branding. I work directly with the BIE Communications Director to design, develop, and implement comprehensive branding packages, including websites, logos, social media platforms, and digital assets. I coordinate closely with stakeholders to ensure all communication materials align with project goals, driving the digital transformation of school websites and enhancing community engagement. I manage cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, consistent, and impactful communication products that support the STEP project’s objectives and improve educational outcomes.

Led a team of graphic designers in the complete overhaul of U.S. Coast Guard Flight manuals, updating them to modern S1000D standards. This involved introducing ICN (Illustrated Component Number) numbering systems and implementing comprehensive tracking of all graphic assets. Developed and implemented new processes for creating high-quality graphics, which streamlined the production workflow and improved overall efficiency. Designed a Microsoft Access-based Digital Asset Management System(DAMS) that featured 50-point metadata tracking, significantly enhancing asset organization and retrieval, and reducing duplicate work. Additionally, created an Access-based Flight Manual Tracking System (FMTS) to monitor the status and revisions of all flight manuals. This work contributed to safer and more effective operations by providing clearer, more accessible instructional materials for Coast Guard personnel.

Directed the graphic development lifecycle for training programs, establishing effective processes for graphics and video development. Led a team of graphic designers in producing high-quality visual content for various client-facing projects. Utilized advanced software tools, including 3D Studio Max and Adobe Creative Suite, to create photo-realistic 3D renderings, animations, and interactive training materials. Collaborated closely with instructional designers and subject matter experts to translate complex information into visually engaging and easily understandable content. Pioneered the development of Augmented Reality (AR) instructional walkthroughs, enhancing the effectiveness and engagement of training programs. Managed multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that all deliverables were completed on time, within budget, and met or exceeded client expectations.

Led a team of graphic designers in high-end graphic development for training programs while also taking responsibility for all corporate photography, design, and advertisement efforts. Developed fully interactive Computer-Based Training (CBT) modules for the U.S. Coast Guard on the Operation and Maintenance of the EADS HC-144 Ocean Sentry aircraft. Developed corporate videos from raw 1080p footage and realistic 3D renderings, edited and composed using Sony Vegas and Adobe Premiere. Beyond these projects, designed and hand-built a fully functional tabletop wind tunnel with smoke streams and a lift gauge to educate 8th-grade students on airfoil design, demonstrating a commitment to both professional excellence and community education.

responsible for the graphic coordination within the project team, overseeing the development of Computer-Based Training (CBT) and Computer-Aided Instruction (CAI) modules. My duties included graphic creation, design, and the supervision of a team of eight artists. I developed and researched new graphic design technologies, managed audio and video ripping and creation, and served as both the assistant lead artist and the lead 3D artist on the team. I successfully developed an entire CAI platform using Macromedia Flash, integrating Flash script, JavaScript, and VB script to create an interactive and engaging instructional environment. Additionally, I pioneered new processes for developing Virtual Reality (VR) media using Macromedia Director, enhancing the immersive quality of training programs. My role also involved introducing innovative processes for modeling in 3D Studio Max, including advanced spline modeling and texturing techniques, which significantly improved the realism and effectiveness of training materials. On a daily basis, I worked with a wide range of industry-standard software, including 3D Studio Max, Photoshop, Flash, Director, Sound Forge, Premiere, and various other tools, ensuring the delivery of high-quality outputs across all projects.
