Founder/Member Manager Global Food Collaborative, LLC; Evolved the membership to bring together qualified professionals along the food as medicine supply chain (B2B) to collaborate to increase their individual and collective momentum, rate of acceleration and innovation for the maximum successful impact on their business and its role in preventative health and chronic disease in concert with our natural world. In 2005, GFC was established as for-profit company to connect Alaska’s food supply chain and encourage/support/facilitate collaborations. Together, we created a sustainable business model that supported the very geographically and seasonally challenged companies producing food/beverage and agri-product. Created and published an e: newsletter (Collaborative INSIGHTS) for 15,000+ targeted readers throughout Alaska and world providing visibility to Alaska’s supply chain of food. Established a collaborative structure for paid company members to leverage their resources and maximize their potential of business growth by working together along most links in the supply chain. Created Global Food Alaska and in-bound/out-bound site visits and round-tables to stimulate and support facilitating stronger and more sustainable bottom lines for member-companies. Continued consulting and facilitation to small/medium businesses re: marketing, promotion, supply chain with increased focus on those raising the bar on planet and people health.

Responsible to the CEO and Ownership in facilitating and implementing a long-term strategic plan. Supervise professional sales and marketing staff, orchestrate systems and procedures that create efficiencies within the corporation. Identify and recruit professional staffing necessary. Create internal metrics and review/evaluate and enhance performance based upon such.

Work with team in key oil/gas regions around the world to assess supply chain solutions specific to oil/gas industry sector for 3M products. Review life-cycle costs with customers, create seamless solutions for key accounts. Adapted to down (oil/gas) markets with innovative outreach that was replicated by the international oil/gas teams and significantly increased sales with more efficient method for buyers and sales reps to connect.

Lead strategic planning for impacting bottom lines of member companies through international business. Create metrics to address WTC impact and annually survey and report on metrics. Identify and execute on diverse revenue stream for sustainable funding of organization, while managing busines missions (in-bound and out-bound), organizational events, business facilitation one-on-one or groiup meetings with emphasis on Russian Far East, Europe, Chile, Korea and Japan. Establish offices in Russian Far East to support business connections in light of RFE oil/gas developments. Oversee the Business Of SeaFOOD conference in Anchorage and several in-bound and out-bound seafood missions (Chile, Korea, Japan, Iceland, Ireland, Norway, German, France, Czech Republic, the Netherlands and Belgium) to create new market opportunities for Alaska businesses.
