- Design system-supporting modules under supervision of chief engineers, including but not limited to: DC overvoltage protection modules, relay control modules, and CPLD target boards.- Design interface boards that perform voltage level shifting between measurement equipment and DUT for protocols such as SPDIF.- Perform low leakage PCB design for mixed signal circuits up to 200V with total leakage current under 10fA. - Design analog overvoltage protection circuits that prevent damage to customer products and testing equipment with a response time of less than 200 microseconds.- Design and perform layout of high-speed ADC development boards, maintaining maximum throughput of the ADC.- Manage PCB stack-up and work with PCB Fabrication Houses to ensure 50-ohm controlled impedance on sensitive AC designs up to 500MHz. - Simulate CPLD-powered switch matrix for use in a rack mounted test system that includes 50 or more PXIe-4135 SMUs using ModelSim in VHDL.- Perform lab validation of CCAs involving RF and digital signals.- Work with Offering Managers to design, develop, and maintain product demos of early access units that have led to high volume preorders.
