Synergy Fitness Group is the capital region’s preeminent provider of universal fitness management services. I'm currently teaching in four locations in downtown Washington DC. Yoga is a passion of mine, and I'm grateful to have the opportunity to share this passion with students.

Manage and lead a team of 30 high-performing online campaigners, technologists, social media managers, and paid marketing specialists to conceive, implement, refine and measure multiple simultaneous cultivation, advocacy and fundraising projects. Participate in every level of brainstorming, cross-team collaboration, drafting, testing, launch, promotion, and post-campaign analysis.

Working directly with program and campaigns staff, I drafted, proofed, coded, and sent out our online action alerts, donation appeals, and newsletters. I also managed most of the online content on the website, designed print ads, PSAs, and flyers, and assisted with the layout and production of the print magazine. In January of 2005, the Fund for Animals and The Humane Society of the United States joined in a corporate combination, and I transitioned to The HSUS's online communications team.

Steck was a subsidiary of Harcourt School Publishers, specializing in K-12 books. I coordinated the production between copy, design, photos, and permissions for several book series simultaneously. I also did photo research, assisted with photo staging and shoots, and coordinated the allocation and billing for photo usage. This was a temporary assignment through Aquent Staffing.

I started my career at DDAL with my duties as the front-office and membership liaison. I grew into new roles and responsibilities including grassroots organizing, legislative policy assistant, and production coordinator and graphics assistant for our print and online media. I launched our first website and managed our online advocacy program.
