I am working with Professor Miguel Fuentes-Cabrera in order to train an artificial neural network to accurately detect Malaria within a blood sample. More specifically we are analyzing blood samples provided by the Institute of Health in Colombia and training YOLO algorithms using the Northeastern Discovery Cluster. Once the algorithm is properly trained we will create an Autoencoder to automatically detect parasites and find a correlation between cell morphology. These findings will apply to other mosquito-borne diseases and hopefully be presented at RISE 2024.

- Developed a comprehensive AI-driven recruiter tool using WhisperX and FastAPI to generate over 500 transcripts from interview audio files. Trained an Ollama LLM on a dataset of 1000 resumes using HuggingFace, enhancing the recruitment process with advanced AI capabilities. - Leveraged Ollama and Spacy to parse resumes and extract key insights such as summaries, skills, and awards. Implemented a scoring system that improved resume analysis efficiency by 40%, and developed functionality for Ollama LLM to generate custom interview questions, reducing interview preparation time by 30%.- Successfully deployed the solution on Digital Ocean App Platform, ensuring seamless backend-frontend communication via DO Spaces. Integrated MongoDB with Pymongo for efficient storage and management of over 10,000 resumes, significantly streamlining the recruiter workflow.
