Roy Jackson hails from Richmond, California. He is a graduate from The University of California Berkeley, where he walked on the football team and eventually earned a scholarship. It was also there, where he was introduced to acting and began studying the craft. Roy also trained at The American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco and performed community-theater throughout the Bay Area. What began on the theater stage, has continued on the small and big screen, as he works in both feature film and television. Roy Jackson has been making people laugh his whole life, so becoming a stand-up comic was a natural and seamless progression. With an innate ability to find humor in just about anything, Roy attacks his comedy with a "tell it like it is" approach as he describes life how he sees it.
