About Gary Dillon

I am excited by the possibilities of applied science and bringing teams together to build solutions that are greater than the sum of their parts. I thrive on thinking about familiar things in new and unusual ways. I enjoy bringing new ideas to market, working across teams to realise an idea. When we're in agreement that a project is worth pursuing, I act to bridge the gap between business case and practise by working with technical staff to build, and implement, a project timeline.Highlights of my career include: Led the technical due diligence for the acquisition of AxioMx inc, a $45 million deal; Over saw the transfer of Abcam's EU CRO business from the US to the UK (now growing at 7.8%);Developing a loyal and high performing team. It's personally important to me that whatever I do has a positive impact, on my team, the people I work with and science. I am available for consulting, message me to discuss.
