As an associate analyst, my key function is to provide analytical, research and logistic assistance to analysts and senior managers, and include the following functions:Assist in the preparation and reporting Asian and Western markets by gathering and analyzing data, preparing charts, running models, sourcing analytical information, and helping to prepare required documentation.Develop an understanding of technical chart reading to assist analysts in applying them to charting analysis. Software we use - Bloomberg, Reuters Charts Attend Thomson Reuters, Bloomberg, Meltwater meetingPrepare presentations for investor meetings under the direction of lead analysts; participate in investor meetings and discussions of key macro/micro economic and political issues. Publish timely and insightful research and assist in conducting research and analysis.Work with a team of analysts on various analytical, statistical and data projects. Utilize SQL, VBA, Excel to query and manipulate large data sets to conduct data analysis.Understand and learn how to use complex financial models, spreadsheets and analytical databases.Perform certain routine administrative and other ad hoc related tasks and directed by senior portfolio managers.

Initially, the role involves me to work with in-depth practical knowledge of programming skills with a technical team. I was also challenged to handle the Unilever Support calls and inquiries for 24/5 standby. Moreover, I visited all HDB main branches to give training of our new asset tracking program and answered all their questions. During my career with Mediatech Marketing Pte Ltd, I was given a chance to work with different departments of the firm as well as customers, therefore, learned to view issues from different perspectives and prepare the best for challenges and changes as my very first career.Special projects :1.
